Connect an MCP client

Use the Model Context Protocol endpoint to let a compatible client request data from your workspace. Premium and Pro are eligible.

1. Create an API credential

Open Workspace → MCP connector. Create a key with the minimum scopes your client requires. Copy the secret when it is shown; it cannot be retrieved again. Keep the key private.

2. Connect the server

Use https://mcp.trade-scanner.app/mcp (also displayed in your workspace). Configure the key as an Authorization: Bearer header in an MCP client that supports authenticated HTTP. The endpoint follows the MCP JSON-RPC tool discovery flow.

3. Discover available tools

Call tools/list to read the current tool names and schemas. The 16 tools cover account entitlements, symbols/quotes/candles, scanner/setup analysis, positioning (CFTC history, carry, retail and calendar), verified channel discovery, alert creation/listing/management, Pro signal reads/subscriptions and delivery history. Do not assume your client can execute broker orders.

4. Inspect freshness

Tool results depend on connected live services. Empty or unavailable data should not be interpreted as a market signal. Ask your client to preserve timestamps and source availability in its response.

Manage access

Revoke a key from the connector page to stop future access. Create a separate credential for each client. Never paste credentials into screenshots, public repositories or shared chat transcripts.
